A smaller sibling to the Goldback, the Piccolo Slim is BXB’s take on a mid-capacity handlebar bag. The Slim 11W version is the same as the regular Piccolo 11W except it uses slimmer side pockets and a narrower lid to be about 12-13” wide - the regular Piccolo is about 14-16” wide depending on how stuffed the side pockets are. The total capacity of 18L and other dimensions between the Slim and regular Piccolo remain the same. 
 
This Slim’s side pocket design is borrowed from backpacking side pockets that can be low profile when not in use but can expand to carry items like a water bottle. They use a replaceable and adjustable stretchy shock cord to close the top - which is easy to open up in a pinch and it’ll snap close when not in use. There’s a water drain hole at the bottom in case weather gets in or the bottle leaks. The side pockets are made from ultragrid fabric of which there are fun color options - see product photos for options.

Stock: Two adjustable side pockets that can lay flat or expand up to 2”.
Upgrade (+$15) to an additional front stretch mesh pocket under top lid (see photos). 
Lid stretch pocket is an ‘ADD-ON’ item (added to the cart separately - look for it on the handlebar bag page). 
Lash points on the lid to stash clothing layers or foam sleeping pad. 
Center internal strap to pull up the front of the bag/compress the bag if overloaded

Rack-less front: handlebar clamp down to tire w/ 2 pair ½” foam spacers: +9.5 
Rack-less rear: saddle loops down to tire: 9” 
Rack/platform support; handlebar/saddle loops down to platform: 5-7" (foam spacers can be used to adjust fit on handlebars)
 
Bag includes:
Voile Nano 9” straps 
6 foam spacer blocks, 1/2” thick. Die cut in house from high density foam. 
¾” strap with cam buckle to attach the lower part to the headtube/seatpost.
 
Need to Know:
Strapping the bag tightly to the handlebars/stem faceplate can cause abrasion - different faceplates and bolts can rub in different ways - so consider the foam spacers to give some space between.
The bag does not claim to be fully waterproof. However, I do my best to weather-proof the bags through material choice and construction. If you need items to be fully waterproof, use lightweight & affordable dry bags.
When attached to handlebars like drop bars or flat/riser MTB bars, cable and hose lengths may need to be adjusted.
Fabric may be scruffed/wrinkled, and/or have pencil marks due to the assembly process. There's nothing wrong with the fabric, apply heat to restore color on waxed canvas and the pencil marks are water soluble so they will fade away in time.
