These foam spacers are a great solution to create space between your bag and the bike.  Examples could be opening up hand positions behind the bag on drop bars, clearing up room for cables and housing on flat bars & if running rackless, they are helpful at the bottom of the bag to adjust how far the bag stands off the head tube or the seat post in the rear to clear up room for leg movement.
